Mengku Shu Pu'erh 2015
Mengku Shu Pu'erh 2015
Leaf Origin: Meng Ku, Yunnan, China
Factory: Feng Qing, Yunnan, China
Flavor: peat, cedar
Such a good pu'erh. Harvested near the Myanmar border from a semi-wild Large Leaf varietal of C. Sinensis sinensis, this tea has the deep, rich body shu pu'erh are known for. But this one also has a peaty flavor (think Scotch without the smoke) paired with bright notes of cedar. We've tasted so many pu'erh teas and this is a favorite! Brew this tea as many as seven times.
Sample pounches contain loose leaf tea.
Jars are powder coated glass mason jars and measure approximately 3 inches in diameter by 5 inches tall.
These are the best way to store your tea! They are totally air tight and protect tea from UV light. If you buy a jar the first time and be sure to save it: you can simply order a refill bag when you need more!
